Currency Note Press in Nashik shut for 5 days after 40 staffers test positive for coronavirus

The operations at the Currency Note Press (CNP) in Maharashtra's Nashik have been shut for five days after 40 staff members tested positive for the novel coronavirus. The operations have been suspended till Thursday. It was also shut for three times for 15 days each during the lockdown period in the beginning days of Covid19 outbreak. The Nashik Currency Note Press is one of the nine government mints in India.
