मेजर जनरल AK Dhingra बने Armed Forces Special Operations Division के मुखिया

Major General AK Dhingra को Armed Forces Special Operations Division का पहला चीफ नियुक्त किया गया। भारतीय सेना की इस Tri-Services Formation में थल सेना के Parachute Regiment, नौसेना के MARCOS और वायु सेना के Garud Commando Force के Special Forces Commandos शामिल होते हैं। गौरतलब है कि Major General AK Dhingra इससे पहले सेना की 56th Infantry Division में बतौर General-Officer-Commanding कार्यरत रहे हैं।
