Tara Sutaria: From Disney Teen to Bollywood Diva
Tara Sutaria was born in Mumbai, India, on November 19, 1995 (24 years old as of 2019) to Himanshu Sutaria and Tina Sutaria. Tara was engaged in acting and singing since she was a child, so she pursued formal dance lessons.
Since the age of seven, she has been a talented singer, having performed in operas and numerous other competitions. Tara, a brilliant singer, and actress is also a very attractive young lady with amazing dance skills.
Sutaria was born to a Zoroastrian Parsi family by chance. Pia, her twin sister, is her best friend. Both were educated at the School of Classical Ballet and Western Dance, Royal Academy of Dance, United Kingdom, and the Imperial Society for Teachers of Dancing, United Kingdom, in old-style expressive dance, modern steps, and Latin American moves. She has been a professional vocalist since she was seven years old, having sung in dramas and rivalries since then. St. Andrew's College of Arts, Science, and Commerce awarded her a four-year certificate in Mass Media.

Career
She is well-known for her roles in the channel's sitcoms, The Suite Life of Karan and Kabir (2012) and Oye Jassie (2013). (2013). Sutaria made her feature film debut in 2019 with the teen drama Student of the Year 2. Sutaria started her association with Disney Channel India as a video racer and has remained connected with them despite having two successful sitcoms.
She has filmed and conducted solo shows in London, Tokyo, Lavasa, and Mumbai, among other places. She has sung with Louis Banks and Mikey McCleary and becomes a soloist with the Stop-Gaps Choral Ensemble, and has been performing at the NCPA for over ten years. She was one of the top seven finalists in the vocalist category of the 2008 "Pogo Amazing Kids Awards."
Sutaria was one of two entertainers selected for the role of Princess Jasmine in the American fantasy film Aladdin (2019), but Naomi Scott won the part.
Sutaria will appear in the spine-chilling Marjaavaan, stars Sidharth Malhotra, Riteish Deshmukh, and Rakul Preet Singh. She will then appear in Milan Luthria's sentimental spine chiller Tadap, opposite newcomer Ahan Shetty, the child of famed actor Suniel Shetty.
