Lance Edward Armstrong (born September 18, 1971) is a former professional road cyclist from the United States. Known as a sports icon for winning the Tour de France seven times in a row from 1999 to 2005, he was later stripped of all his titles after an investigation revealed that he was a key figure in the Lance Armstrong doping case.
