Redmond, Washington is the headquarters of the global tech corporation Microsoft which is based in the United States. Facebook states on its website that it claims that and people's connections across the platform can contribute to better understanding between different groups. Anyone who can provide Facebook with a means of identity would be able to use the site for free.
