Indian Telegraph Act, 1885

The Indian Telegraph Act was passed in the year 1885. It gives the Government of India the right to establish, maintain, operate, license, and oversight all forms of wireless or wired communications within the territory of India.

The Factories Act, 1948

The Registration of Foreigners’ Act, 1939

This act includes that if a person visits India on a long-term visa are required to register themselves with a registration officer within 14 days of arriving in India. In the case of Pakistanis, the duration is only 24 hours.
