However, the bowler gave a tight answer to this mockery after right on the next delivery, he took Aamir's wicket and gestured him to walk to the dressing room.

During a Sahara Cup match between India and Pakistan in 1997, a fan from the crowds had called Inzamam "Aaloo (Potato)". He further continued to provoke the cricketer after which Haq lost his cool and got physically violent with the fan. He was banned for two subsequent matches after that.

What can be considered as one of the worst verbal fights between two cricketers, in 2003 during West Indies versus Australia, Glenn McGrath said some things against Ramnaresh Sarwan who responded with equally unpleasant comments about the Australian player's wife. The two were pulled apart after the intervention and were left without any charges on either side.

However, the Indian team protested by saying that they would pull out the team from the series if the ban wasn't lifted.
