In 1963, Lee Harvey Oswald, the American murderer of JFK two days previously, was shot dead two days later by nightclub owner Jack Ruby live on television at 24.
Oswald was shot and murdered by Jack Ruby, the proprietor of a nightclub, on November 24, while being carried from the police station to the county prison through a subterranean parking lot. Officer Tippit's murder was brought against Oswald. On November 23, he was accused with assassinating President John F. Kennedy. During police interrogations, Oswald denied any role in the assassination. He was never able to completely explain his conduct or motivation since he, too, was assassinated the next day.
