Bajaj Chetak E-Scooter to be built by all-female workforce

Bajaj Chetak electric scooter will go on sale in January 2020 and deliveries will start from Pune first followed by other cities. Bajaj has said Chetak will be built at its Chakan facility in Maharashtra by an all-female workforce on the assembly line. It will bring a 3 year/50,000 km warranty as standard. Bajaj assures the battery life of the lithium-ion units on the Chetak e-scooter is near about 70,000 km.
