Maruti Suzuki, Toyota to launch multiple hybrid vehicles soon

Maruti Suzuki and Toyota are preparing to launch multiple new hybrid vehicles in the 2024-25 period, marking a significant shift toward electrification. The upcoming models will feature both mild- and strong-hybrid powertrains, combining traditional combustion engines with advanced electric propulsion systems. The seven-seater versions of the Maruti Suzuki Grand Vitara and Toyota Urban Cruiser Hyryder are expected to debut in India in early 2025.
