Tesla filed a lawsuit against electric vehicle automaker Rivian and four former employees on allegations of poaching talent and stealing trade secrets. Tesla said that Rivian recruits Tesla employees and encourages them to take proprietary information as they leave. However, both Rivan and the employee knew well that taking such information would violate the employee's non-disclosure obligation to Tesla.
