Air India goofed up: Transfers $300,000 to Nigeria instead of a US firm

Air India's office in NewYork transferred $300000 to a bank account in Nigeria instead of a US-based firm Prat & Whitney for supplying spare parts. The incident occurred in June 2017 & still, AI failed to retrieve the amount back from the Nigerian bank account. It seems that the officers those who were at fault were never punished & got a rise in their career. When AI was asked, it said the matter is under investigation.
