Air India raises Rs 6 crore bill for the evacuation of 647 people from Wuhan

Air India has put nearly Rs 6 crore for evacuating 647 people from the coronavirus epicentre, Wuhan. The airline put a bill of Rs. 5,98,90,352 for operating 2 special flights to China & spent Rs 92,566.23 on each of 640 Indians & 7 Maldivians for their evacuation. India sent 3 flights to evacuate its citizens & foreigners from Wuhan. An Indian airforce flight carrying relief material also evacuated Indians on its return journey.
