Airports in debt of Rs 970 crores to CISF for guarding civil airports

Central Industrial Security Force (CISF) Director General Rajesh Ranjan has revealed that privately or jointly run airports owe Rs 880 crores while airports under Airports Authority of India owe Rs 90 crores to CISF for providing security personnel. Out of Rs 880 crores, Rs 788 crores alone are owed by Delhi International Airport Limited, which runs the Indira Gandhi International Airport in New Delhi.
