Airtel lost 3 million customers following the network shutdown in Jammu&Kashmir

Major telecom companies witnessed a huge reduction in their customer base following the communication shutdown in Jammu and Kashmir. According to a latest report by brokerage ICICI Securities, Bharti Airtel lost a whopping 30 lakh customers while other major telecom companies such as Vodafone, Idea also lost huge number of customers. This is the 5th consecutive quarter of subscriber base decline given the integration-led challenges.
