Airtel Payments Bank and Airtel received susepnsion of e-KYC license

The Bharti Airtel and the Airtel Payments Bank have been experiencing a shut down on its service of the Aadhar Card Based Sim Verification using e-KYC. The reason behind this is claimed that the payments bank accounts were opened without the informed consent of the subscribers. This has been done by UIDAI. One of the Airtel spokespersons has confirmed this news. Also, the e-KYC license key is suspended.
