As per the reports, Amazon.com Incorporation is in talks to acquire the century-old movie studio Metro-Goldwyn-Maye for nearly $9 billion. Iconic movies like James Bond have been produced under the MGM studio. The acquisition will help Amazon boost its Prime streaming service. The details regarding the deal were shared by the Information and Variety. Video executive Mike Hopkins is handling Amazon's bid for MGM.
