Amazon, Flipkart causes huge GST revenue loss to Govt: CAIT

CAIT has accused & levelled charges of causing GST revenue loss to both Central & State govt by their predatory pricing practices. CAIT wrote a letter to FM alleging that e-commerce portals, especially Amazon & Flipkart, offer deep discounts from 10-80% on different products, which is quite abnormal & unavailable in the offline market generally. By lowering the price, they are causing huge loss to govt & violating FDI policy.
