Amazon is leading a $575 million funding for food delivery app Deliveroo, raising the total up to $1.53 billion. Deliveroo is a British food delivery app that allows the users to place order for food from nearby restaurants. It is a rival of Uber Eats and Just Eat in UK But Deliveroo operates in 14 markets including Germany, Australia, Hong Kong and UAE. Deliveroo would use the funding to grow its engineering team.
