Amazon reduces delivery time from 2-days to 1-day

Amazon.com Inc brings the next step of reducing the delivery time to a day for Prime Customers. The announcement came after its first-quarter profit increased by 17% while the competitive retailers like Walmart and Target fell by 3% and 2%. First quarter profit exceeded the analyst estimates. Amazon chief believed that faster delivery rates would increase the number and type of products that consumers buy from their website.
