Amazon has to drop its idea of having a new headquarters site in New York City on Thursday after facing opposition from local leaders, who are angry with the huge subsidies being offered to the world's largest online shopping portal. But the exit plan can have an effect on employment opportunities as it will take away 25,000 jobs it promised with it, the experts said, leaving other companies scared.
