Amazon sponsored a 'Maisel Day' with an absurdly cheap gas promotion in its latest marketing campaign for its Prime Video Series 'Marvelous Mrs Maisel' which didn't go as planned. The Santa Monica Police had to shut down the gas promotion as it led to traffic delays caused by eager customers. The company teamed up with the Carnegie Deli to offer discounted sandwiches in New York, but that went smooth.
