Amazon raises minimum wage for 350,000 workers to USD 15

Facing criticism from labour rights groups and politicians, Amazon will increase minimum wages to USD 15 per hour starting next month for more than 350,000 workers in the US. These workers include full-time, part-time, temporary and seasonal positions and employees at Amazon owned Whole Foods. The company is advocating better pay for all employees and will increase wages of operations and customer service employees.
