Andhra Pradesh government to introduce Gender Budget and Child Budget from 2021-22

The YS Jagan Mohan Reddy-led Andhra Pradesh government is all set to introduce Gender Budget and Child Budget from 2021-22. "The Government of Andhra Pradesh has launched new programmes and schemes targeted at women and children, especially in areas such as health, education, nutrition, livelihood and protection from abuse," the government order read. As per the order, the Gender Budget will be prepared in two parts.
