Ant Financial affiliated with Alibaba, buys currency exchange giant WorldFirst

Ant Financial, the financial services, has made its first ever big move into Europe by acquiring London's payments company WorldFirst. As per the sources, the deal was finalized for around $700 million. Ant Financial is affiliated with Chinese e-commerce giant Alibaba. The news was confirmed by WorldFirst in a note to customers. The company claimed that they have transferred over $90 billion for customers since 2004.
