Bakhshi to take over as COO of ICICI in Chanda Kochhar's absence

Sandeep Bakhshi has been named the COO of ICICI Bank after Managing Director and CEO Chanda Kochhar left for a planned annual leave till completion of a probe against her for allegations of conflict of interest. Bakhshi will be in charge of business and corporate functions. He will also get reports from executive board directors and executive management and then report to ICICI board in Kochhar's absence.
