Bank unions call Bharat Bandh on January 8, to protest against banking reforms

Affecting the banking service across the country, the bank unions are all set to hit an all-India general strike on January 8 against the Narendra Modi government policies and recent banking reforms called by a central trade union. They are also demanding a salary hike and other benefits. The six bank unions are reportedly going on strike. Be careful if you have an important piece of banking-related work.
