Banks broke their own guidelines to hand Vijay Mallya loan: Court

On Friday, the Westminster Magistrates' court in London in the Vijay Mallya case said that it was obvious that rules were broken by the banks that sanctioned him some of the loans. The British judge Emma Arbuthnot described it as a jigsaw puzzle with enormous evidence that is required to be arranged together. The case shows clear sign of banks that they might have gone against their own guidelines.
