Bid to simplify the return, the Single window for all businesses

The GST Council announced on Friday that it would have a single monthly return window for all businesses. This new system will replace the present GSTR-3B and GSTR-1, and it makes the process more simple. This single window return applies to all excluding businesses which opt for composition scheme. The GoM has decided to buy-out 51% of GST network make it full government-owned. It will take six months for operationalized.
