Bilateral defence trade between India and US to reach $18 billion this year: Pentagon

According to Pentagon, the defence trade between India and the US is likely to reach $18 billion by the end of this year. The statement came ahead of the ninth India-US Defence Technologies and Trade Initiative or DTTI group meeting in New Delhi next week. Pentagon also stated that the bilateral defence trade between the two nations was zero in 2008. The officials said the US is committed to strengthening its partnership with India.
