Boeing agrees to pay $2.5 billion to settle 737 Max case investigation

Boeing has admitted that its staff misled the regulators about the safety of its 737 Max aircraft that eventually resulted in 2 unfortunate crashes. The aircraft manufacturer has agreed to pay $2.5 billion to settle a Justice Department investigation in the case. "I firmly believe that entering into this resolution is the right thing for us to do,” said Max CEO David Calhoun. He called it a very "substantial settlement."
