Bombay High Court quashes cheating complaint against Amazon India head

In a major relief for Amazon India head Amit Agarwal, the Bombay High Court has quashed a cheating complaint against him. The proceeding was initiated against Agarwal on the basis of a private complaint filed by a lawyer Amritpal Singh Khalsa. "The Magistrate failed in appreciating the facts of the case and thereby, committed an error in concluding that a prima-facie case of cheating has been made." the Bombay HC said.
