Casual, contractual workers hits rock bottom after note ban

According to Labour Ministry survey, about 87,000 job loss, with a majority of contractual workers and casual labourers, were reported after demonetisation in India. The survey covered about 11,179 units and also highlights the positive change of 64,000 workers across the 8 sectors like education, health, trade, IT/BPO, transport and construction. It is estimated that no change was observed in self-employed.
