CB Insights Report: India beats China, becomes Asia's top fundraising hub for fintech

India is no 1 now in Asia’s top fundraising hub of fintech surpassing China after last 4 quarters. China saw $192 million worth in the 1st quarter of 2019 while India made $286 million but with 29 deals for both. China made 49 deals for the last quarter of 2018. The recent downfall for China is due to recent regulations from govt which narrowed down on inappropriate online lending industry of sudden closures & frozen funds.
