By employing more than 2 lakh workforce, Cognizant becomes the 2nd largest IT company in India. While Infosys has employed 2.3 lakh staff worldwide, over the past 5 years, Cognizant has added 66,000 people. Although IT companies have shifted from headcount development to a company performance model, the increasing headcount in India illustrates the importance of the nation as a solid supply engine.
