Covid19 effect: One in every three UK employers mulling job cuts in this quarter

According to a survey of 2,000 employers by the human resources body the CIPD and Adecco Group, one in three employers in United Kingdom is looking to make job cuts amid the spread of the novel coronavirus. The private firms in the country are particularly planning job cuts amid the financial crisis posed due to the global pandemic. Unemployment in the country is expected to rise to about 7.5% by the end of the year.
