The Supreme Court's order to limit the crackers' sale to only green crackers and the growing awareness among the people amid the increasing pollution, the sale of crackers has surely been dampened this Diwali season. The sale of crackers came down by 30% while the sale of sound crackers crashed down to 50%. The traders admitted the drop in production due to the confusion over green crackers and delay in getting license.
