Deadline For Income Tax Return Filing Extends To 31st August

In a tweet, the Finance Ministry has announced that it has extended the deadline for ITR filing to 31st August. Categorized below can pay till 31st August: corporate-assessee, non-corporate assessee, the working partner of a firm whose accounts are required to be audited and an assessee who is required to furnish a report under section 92E. Other than the mentioned above categories will have to pay till 31st July.
