Delhi HC directed J&J to pay 67 patients Rs 25 lakh compensation each

Delhi High Court directed Johnson & Johnson to make an interim payment to 67 patients Rs 25 lakh compensation each over alleged faulty hip implants made by the company. This came after the company verified that these patients had undergone revision surgery & it was voluntarily paying them Rs 25 lakh as compensation. However, the company clarified that payment should not be considered as an admission of liability or a precedent.
