Ecommerce players can’t sell specified ayurvedic, Unani drugs without prescription: CCPA

The Central Consumer Protection Authority (CCPA) on Thursday issued an advisory to ecommerce platforms directing them to ensure that the sale of certain Ayurvedic, Siddha and Unani drugs is only done against valid prescription. The consumer watchdog said that consuming such drugs without medical supervision could lead to severe health complications.
