India stands at number 3 in this chart, ahead of Hong Kong and Singapore, which are some of the most expensive places to live in Asia. In India, the companies are offering the mid-level staff an average package of $299,728 while in Hong Kong firms are offering $276,417.With an average expat package of $421,798, the UK tops the global list.
