Facebook to enforce consent rules for Custom Audiences

Facebook is launching a new consent tool to protect its custom audiences. This requires accountability and transparency from business advertisers, who will have to declare receiving consent from users to upload their contact info like email address and phone number for ad targeting. Facebook will also enforce its users to confirm these terms and allow them to opt out of seeing ads from a business.
