Flipkart, Amazon say they have no role in pricing or discounts

The confederation of all India Traders (CAIT) has been alleged e-commerce giants Flipkart and Amazon of flouting FDI norms by offering deep discounts. The companies, however, claimed innocence. Flipkart, Amazon representatives met the department for promotion of industry and internal trade and said they are investing big on creating warehouses and logistics networks, but fully in compliance with all laws and FDI norms.
