Flipkart online smartphones sales at peak, leave Amazon behind
A report by Counterpoint Research suggests that Flipkart sells more smartphones online than any other online platform, leaving Amazon behind. Flipkart grew its market of online smartphones to 51% in 2017, the volumes grew by 43% and have 70% online market share. “There were 64 exclusives with 158 phone models launched on Flipkart in 2017,” says Ayyappan Rajagopal, senior director of smartphones at Flipkart.
