Flipkart plans to open physical grocery store in India

Walmart-owned Flipkart is planning to open physical grocery stores in India. The e-commerce giant wants to have a hold in the food retail industry in the country where 100% FDI is allowed. This revelation has been made after the firm opened its 5th online grocery store in Mumbai. Though foreign investors are not allowed to open retail stores in India in the food retail business, they can open physical stores.
