Ford and Mahindra and Mahindra announced collaboration

Ford motor company and Mahindra and Mahindra have announced a joint venture to sell Ford vehicles in India and Ford and Mahindra vehicles in other markets. Mahindra will hold 51% stakes in the joint venture and Ford will transfer its India operations to the JV. Anand Mahindra said that Mahindra's expertise on the successful operating models along with Ford's access to future technology is a potential recipe for success.
