GDP Growth slows to 6.6% In Oct-Dec quarter

As per the data released by the govt on February 28, 2019, India's GDP growth witness the slowest rate of GDP expansion recorded in over a year as it stood at 6.6% in the October to December quarter of FY19 unlike 6.9% median forecast from more than 55 economists polled on February 19-25. The GDP growth for the previous quarter (July-September) registered at 7.1%. Ministry of Statistics estimated GDP during 2018-19 at 7.0%.
