Google and Fb dominates, Independent online advertising firms falling

In the world of digital advertising, Google and Facebook are heading. But the two have caused the fall by 21% since 2013 of independent ad tech companies. In the 2nd quarter of 2018, the number dropped to 185 companies. The revenue of other firms has declined due to the solid hold of the two on digital advertising. A total of $88 bn was spent on online ads in 2017, of which 90% went to them.
