Govt collected Rs 92,000 CR as GST till Oct 23
Today, Finance Ministry announced GST figures for the month of September till 23 October which stood at 92,150 crores. Individually CGST contributed Rs. 14,042 cr, SGST contributed Rs. 21,172 cr, IGST contributed Rs. 48,948 cr and Compensation Cess contributed Rs. 7,988 cr, out of which ₹722 cr is from import. However, govt also waived penalty on the delayed filing of initial GST returns for August and September.
