GVK Group chairman GVK Reddy and son GV Sanjay Reddy booked by CBI over irregularities worth Rs 705 crore

Venkata Krishna Reddy Gunupati, the chairman of the GVK Group of Companies and his son G V Sanjay Reddy, have been booked by the CBI for irregularities worth Rs 705 crore in running of the airport. GVK Airports Holdings Limited had teamed up with Airport Authority of India for a joint venture aimed at upgradation and maintenance of Mumbai airport. GVK Group has been accused of siphoning off funds using different ways.
